Job Description
: Freelance Technical Designer (Apparel) We're looking for a detail-oriented Freelance Technical Designer to support our apparel development team on current individual projects, with the possibility of ongoing work for the right candidate! This is an associate-level role for someone who understands garment construction and can work independently to create accurate technical packages. Responsibilities Create and update garment tech packs in Microsoft Excel Develop clean technical sketches in Adobe Illustrator Write garment specifications and construction details Measure garments and create spec sheets Update revisions and communicate changes clearly Organize development files and maintain accuracy throughout the process Qualifications Understanding of garment construction and fit Proficient in Adobe Illustrator (technical flats) Proficient in Microsoft Excel Ability to read and create garment specifications Excellent attention to detail and organization Preferred (but not required) Sweater technical design experience Experience working directly with overseas factories Project Details Current freelance work and projects, renewed month-by-month Opportunity for ongoing projects based on performance 5 days a week in office
