Job Description

FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE - FULL TIME 7 AM - 3PM
Position Summary:
As a Hotel Front Desk Agent, you are the first point of contact for our guests and play a crucial role in shaping their experience. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from check-in to check-out, ensuring every guest feels valued and their needs are met with efficiency and a friendly demeanor. This is an ideal role for someone who loves interacting with people, is highly organized, and enjoys a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services:
Warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure. Efficiently check guests in and out, processing payments and providing necessary information. Answer guest inquiries in person and over the phone, providing accurate information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions. Address guest concerns, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally, striving for a positive resolution. Handle luggage assistance and provide directions as needed.
Reservations & Administration:
Manage room reservations, modifications, and cancellations with precision. Maintain accurate guest records and room assignments. Process mail, messages, and calls for guests. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation.
Hotel Operations:
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and front desk area. Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments (housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage) to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to assist guests. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with basic computer applications. (Experience with hotel property management systems (Hotel Key or Pep) is a plus. Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. A positive attitude and a professional appearance.
