Front Desk Agent

We are looking for a friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team! This seasonal position will be working evenings for 5 or 6 hours, and for 2 to 4 shifts per week. Although we are are open year round, we are more of a seasonal hotel, keeping busy though the end of October. Hours would vary after that if you are still available for work. For those looking for more hours, we have the option to pick up more hours doing other jobs here at the Manor, such as housekeeping and cleaning.

Responsibilities:

Warmly greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival. Checking guests in and out, issuing keys, and explaining amenities. Answering phones and directing calls or taking messages. Responding to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and helpful manner. Providing information about the B&B, its services, and local attractions. Assisting guests with luggage and special needs. Managing online, phone, and in-person room reservations. Maintaining accurate reservation records and guest information. Processing payments and handling billing inquiries.

Other Duties:

Baking cookies nightly for guests and serving them. Performing light housekeeping duties in public areas. Coordinating with other staff to ensure guest satisfaction. Following established procedures for handling emergencies and security concerns. Previous experience in Hospitality or as a front desk agent is preferred, but will train the right person. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and colleagues.
