Front Desk Agent

Starting pay of $17/hour with seasonal or year around salary options available upon discussion. Candidates we are seeking will be working evening or morning shifts. Looking for someone to work the front desk, but also help maintain the giftshop, seat guests, and bus tables as needed. Front Desk Attendant duties and responsibilities Manage online, phone and in-person room reservations Welcome guests, check them in, distribute room keys and explain the hotel's amenities Take payment from customers Respond to guests' issues and complaints in a friendly, timely manner Explain local amenities and attractions to guests Work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet hotel standards and accommodate any special client needs Maintain a clean and organized front desk area including the gift shop, restrooms, common/lobby areas, and entrances. Front Desk Attendant skills and qualifications High school diploma or GED Customer service experience preferred One year of front desk experience in the hospitality industry preferred Excellent verbal communication skills Availability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays Familiarity with computers and ability to input guest information efficiently Ability to solve guest issues in a friendly and timely fashion Friendly and welcoming demeanor
