Job Description

La Quinta Inn & Suites is seeking a professional and service-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team in Danbury, CT. If you enjoy working in hospitality, providing excellent guest service, and being the face of the hotel, we'd love to hear from you. Position Overview The Front Desk Agent is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, handling reservations and room assignments, and ensuring a smooth and positive guest experience from arrival to departure. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner Manage guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently Handle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments Process payments and verify billing information Maintain a clean and organized front desk area Follow all hotel policies and procedures Assist guests with inquiries, concerns, and special requests Support breakfast service when needed Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality experience preferred) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays Professional appearance and positive attitude What We're Looking For Detail-oriented and organized Friendly, proactive, and solution-focused Comfortable handling guest concerns professionally Team player with strong work ethic La Quinta Inn & Suites Danbury is part of Diamond Hospitality Group, a growing organization dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences.
