Front Desk, Scheduling & Procedure Coordinator - Gastroenterology Practice Broward Digestive Care | Sunrise, FL | Full-Time | $22-$23/hr About Us Broward Digestive Care is an independent gastroenterology and hepatology practice with locations in Sunrise and Davie, FL. We're a physician-founded practice built on delivering high-quality, personalized digestive care to our community. We move fast, we take pride in our work, and we want people who do the same. The Role You'll be the face and voice of our Sunrise office — managing the front desk, owning the appointment schedule, and coordinating endoscopic procedure scheduling. Prior authorizations and insurance verification are a full team effort — you won't be doing it alone. This is a high-responsibility role that requires someone organized, professional, and comfortable handling volume without dropping the ball. What You'll Do Greet and check in patients; manage the front desk from open to close Schedule, confirm, and reschedule office appointments across multiple provider calendars Schedule endoscopic procedures (colonoscopy, EGD) at the appropriate facility and ensure patients receive prep instructions Assist the team with prior authorizations and referrals for procedures and office visits — this is a shared responsibility across the office staff Answer and triage incoming calls with professionalism Collect co-pays and patient balances at time of service Maintain accurate patient demographics and records in the EHR Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow Handle faxes and general administrative tasks What We're Looking For Minimum 1-2 years of medical office experience required GI, surgical, or specialty office background strongly preferred — procedure scheduling experience a significant plus Experience with HMO referrals, insurance verification, and prior authorizations Proficiency with EHR systems (will train if needed) Bilingual in Spanish or Haitian Creole a significant plus Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Comfortable in a fast-paced, independent practice environment Compensation & Benefits $22-$23/hr depending on experience Full-time, Monday-Friday Benefits offered PTO 401(k) with eligibility after 6 months To Apply Submit your resume through Indeed.
