Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced and service-oriented Front Desk Coordinator to support daily office operations. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, handling front desk interactions, and assisting with light administrative tasks in an on-site setting. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for visitors and callers while helping maintain an organized, detail-oriented workplace.
Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests and employees with a courteous, detail-oriented approach and ensure all visitors are properly directed upon arrival.
  • Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, respond to routine inquiries, and transfer calls to the appropriate contacts.
  • Oversee front desk activities throughout the day to help the office run smoothly and present a positive first impression.
  • Provide administrative support such as coordinating basic office needs, monitoring shared spaces, and assisting with day-to-day operational tasks.
  • Keep kitchen and common areas supplied and orderly so staff and visitors have a clean and functional environment.
  • Partner with internal contacts to address workplace concerns, resolve routine issues, and escalate matters when needed.
  • Maintain accurate visitor logs and follow established site procedures for office access and guest check-in.
  • Support on-site office coordination efforts during scheduled business hours and contribute to a dependable front-of-house presence. Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in a front desk, office administration, hospitality, or similar customer-facing role.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage receptionist responsibilities in a detail-oriented office environment.
  • Experience handling inbound calls and operating a multi-line or switchboard phone system.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide high-quality service to visitors, clients, and employees.
  • Comfortable performing light administrative duties while balancing multiple priorities throughout the day.
  • Reliable attendance and the ability to work fully on site in Wilmington, Delaware.
  • All candidates are required to undergo a basic criminal screening.
