Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front Desk Manager to lead our front desk team. In this pivotal role, you will be the welcoming face of Pickleball Kingdom. Your leadership will foster a warm, efficient, and professional environment that enhances member satisfaction and operational excellence.

Our culture is built on energy, consistency, and service — and the Front Desk Manager plays a critical role in bringing that to life every day. Position Summary The Front Desk Manager is a hands-on leadership role responsible for front desk operations, staff coordination, member engagement, inventory control, and day-to-day administrative execution. This role supports the General Manager by ensuring systems, people, and processes run smoothly while creating a welcoming, professional environment for members and guests. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and people-focused, with the ability to juggle operations, training, and member experience. Key Responsibilities, Hiring & HR Administration- Interview, hire, onboard, and train front desk staff
- Enter and maintain all employee information
- Oversee employee timekeeping
- Support ongoing staff compliance and documentation Front Desk Operations & Staff Oversight
- Assign and oversee front desk responsibilities
- Create and maintain opening, closing, and cleaning procedures
- Compile staff meeting notes and maintain reference binders
- Create pricing cheat sheets for food, drinks, and Pro Shop items
- Ensure team understands member vs. non-member pricing Pro Shop Management & Inventory Control
- Organize, display, and maintain Pro Shop merchandise
- Order inventory and supplies
- Oversee vendor communication, purchasing, and inventory movement Programming & Member Engagement
- Maintain a spreadsheet of Pickleball 101 class participants
- Send weekly follow-up emails inviting participants to Beginner Open Play
- Actively engage members and help grow the pickleball community Marketing Materials, Signage & Promotions
- Design, print, and display flyers for club events and specials
- Oversee some social media posting Sales, Reviews & Community Growth
- Sell memberships and promote upgrades
- Encourage and respond to Google reviews
- Promote paddle and Pro Shop sales
- Support and motivate staff
- Build strong relationships with members and guests Meetings, Leadership & Collaboration
- Assist in leading management meetings
- Create meeting agendas and document notes
- Participate in marketing meetings
- Support social media efforts by capturing photos/video and sharing with marketing team
- Contribute content to shared marketing spreadsheets
- Explore marketing channels Qualifications
- 2+ years in customer service, hospitality, or operations leadership
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Comfortable with spreadsheets, email platforms, and POS systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Pickleball experience is a plus
- Ability to stand/walk 2-3 hours at a time
- Ability to lift/carry 50lbs occasionally
- Ability to kneel/bend What Success Looks Like
