Front Desk Monitor

SHARE, a Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Facility in Hoffman Estates seeks a mature, reliable individual to monitor and oversee building activity.

Duties include:

• Constant monitoring of multiple security screens , both inside and outside.
• Recognizing and reporting suspicious activity or anomalies in monitored areas.
• Recording all surveillance activities in comminution logs.
• Complying with privacy regulation and maintaining confidently.

The front desk monitor will be responsible for monitoring and operating CCTV cameras. This individual will have to have a keen eye for detail, deep sense of responsibility, and the ability to act swiftly and intelligently in crisis situations. Also responsible for physically monitoring building areas, doorways and exits. Physical stamina to sit for long periods of time while remaining focused on the security system. Interpersonal skills to work effectively and coordinate with shift team. Available shifts are weekday evenings 3-11 pm and weekends, 7am to 3 pm or 3 pm

• 11 pm. Must be dependent and able to multi-task. This person must be able to present themselves in a professional matter. Background and Drug Testing required pre-hire. A 2-step TB test is also required and provided by facility nurses.
• This is a permanent part-time position.
