About Us:
Pacific Crest Orthopedics is a leading orthopedic practice committed to delivering exceptional care to our patients. With two locations in San Francisco, we offer state-of-the-art facilities, including in-house MRI, X-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and more.Job Summary:
The Front Desk is the first point of contact for our patients and plays a vital role in ensuing smooth clinic operations. We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed individual who has excellent customer service skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to successfully triage and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:
▪ Provide exceptional, high quality customer service at all times. Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and attentiveness immediately upon entering the clinic. ▪ Check patients in and out during clinic (detailed below). ▪ Take charge of keeping the patient area clean and neat. ▪ As a team member, when asked, assist with patient room preparation and upkeep. ▪ Assist with answering phone calls as needed. Direct all inquiries and messages in a timely manner to the appropriate person(s). ▪ Open and distribute mail daily (detailed below). ▪ Assist in completing important patient forms such asEDD, DMV, FMLA
. •Patient Check-In & Registration:
◦ Welcome patients to the clinic and guide them through the check-in process. ◦ Collect and update patient demographics and insurance information. ◦ Collect co-pays and enter into our E.H.R., Dr. Chrono •Patient Check-Out & Appointment Scheduling:
◦ Coordinate appointment times that meet both the patient, clinic, and provider scheduling needs. ◦ Manage cancellations and reschedules between our two main offices effectively. ◦ When scheduling an appointment, state the reason for the visit and the body part. ◦ Make sure all needed information will be obtained and uploaded in time for the patient's visit. ◦ Provide work/school Absence notes, Return-to-work and Attendance Verification notes. •Administrative Support:
◦ Assist with insurance authorizations and referrals as needed. ◦ Support the medical staff with clerical tasks such as faxing, returning phone calls, or emailing patients. ◦ Stock office products in assigned storage areas. ◦ Open and distribute all mail delivered to front desk during office hours; regularly check outside mail box for after-hours mail delivery. ◦ As a team member, perform other tasks as assigned by management.Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:
