Job Description

At Pelvic Health NJ, healing begins the moment a patient reaches out. We are looking for a warm, organized, and dependable Front Desk Patient Experience Coordinator to be the first point of connection for our patients. This person is more than a receptionist
  • they help create trust, ease, and a seamless patient experience from the first phone call to every visit after. The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, detail-oriented, proactive, and genuinely cares about helping people feel supported. Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism
  • Manage scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, and waitlists
  • Answer phones, emails, and patient inquiries with empathy and efficiency
  • Verify insurance, collect co-pays, and assist with billing questions
  • Maintain accurate patient records and support HIPAA-compliant front desk operations
  • Coordinate with providers and staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Keep the front desk and waiting area organized, calm, and welcoming
  • Follow through on tasks, patient needs, and outstanding administrative items Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of front desk, administrative, or customer service experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong follow-up habits, professionalism, and attention to detail Preferred
  • Experience in a medical, wellness, or physical therapy setting
  • Insurance verification and billing knowledge
  • Familiarity with EMR systems such as WebPT
