Front Desk Receptionist

About the role Valley Integrated Urgent Care & Wellness is a fast-growing, multi-service practice in the NEPA region offering urgent care, primary care, occupational health, and wellness services. We're looking for a dependable, personable team member who enjoys an at times fast paced environment This position primarily covers urgent care check-in on weekends (Friday-Sunday), with flexible scheduling available Monday-Thursday to fit your availability. You'll also support Dr. Braga's primary care office with front office tasks including patient check-in, sending referrals, insurance correspondence, and general administrative support. • Additional hours available based on your availability, ability to grow their hours and expand your role Responsibilities Greet and check in urgent care and primary care patients Support Dr.

Braga's primary care office with front office operations including referrals, prior authorizations, and insurance correspondence Verify insurance, collect copays, and process payments Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow Maintain accurate records in the EMR system Communicate with clinical staff Assist with occupational health and wellness intake as needed Qualifications Weekend availability required Prior experience in a medical office, urgent care, or healthcare setting preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (Solv, Athena, or similar a plus) Strong communication, multitasking, and customer service skills Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude High school diploma or equivalent required What we offer Flexible weekday scheduling built around your availability (Mon-Thu) Supportive, team-first work environment Exposure to multiple service lines: urgent care, primary care, occupational health, and wellness Opportunity to grow with an expanding NEPA healthcare practice Competitive hourly pay based on experience Paid time off for eligible employees
