Front Desk Receptionist Optometry office

Overview:

We are seeking a part-time professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist for an Optometrist in Oakhurst, NJ. This doctor is well-respected in the community and her office is connected to an optical shop. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our office, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. Looking for someone whose schedule is flexible to work along with existing receptionist for 2 days a week and additional coverage if needed. This is not a seasonal position.

Office Hours:

M,W,F

• 9:15am-5:30pm

Tues:

11:45am-7:00pm

Sat:

Every other, 9:00am-1:00pm (half day)

Thurs, Sun:

CLOSED Duties:

• Greet and welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer and direct phone calls
• Manage appointments and scheduling
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area
• Submitting insurance claims and posting payments
• Light office cleaning

Experience:

• Previous experience in an office setting preferred (Training opportunity available)
• Proficiency in office management tasks
• Strong organizational skills
• Computer literacy
• Clerical skills such as typing
