Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Hotel front desk team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality management, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while managing front desk operations efficiently. This role requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a team.
Job Summary:
The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk to ensure high levels of customer service, smooth check-in and check-out procedures, and effective communication between guests and departments. This role involves supervising front desk staff, handling guest concerns, and ensuring that all front office policies and procedures are followed.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and schedule front desk staff to ensure optimal coverage and service levels. Greet guests, handle check-ins/check-outs, and address guest inquiries or concerns in a professional manner. Monitor daily front desk operations and resolve issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. Ensure accurate record-keeping, including reservations, billing, and guest preferences. Implements procedures and policies for front desk. Prepare reports on occupancy, arrivals/departures, and other relevant metrics. Handle escalated guest complaints with professionalism and empathy. Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and ongoing training of front desk staff. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments as needed. Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a hotel front desk or guest services role. Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledgeable in hotel management software (Cloudbeds or similar). Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods. Light lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required occasionally.
