Front End Cashier

Responsibilities Uphold our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring every shopping experience at Snappy's is outstanding. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their shopping experience Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including stocking shelves and merchandising products as needed Ensure compliance with store policies on phone etiquette, safety procedures, and cash handling protocols Act as a friendly and approachable source of information and guidance for customers. Direct customers to items and departments within the store. Support inventory management through stocking and merchandising to enhance product visibility and sales Requirements Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customers Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers accurately Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, stocking shelves, and merchandising products Every interaction with our customers and staff should reflect respect and positivity.
