Front Line Server (Weekend)

Overview:

Jake's On The Lakes is seeking experienced part-time Front of House Servers to join our team to ensure a high quality level of service for our guests. (Weekend shifts)

Qualifications:

3 years experience in the restaurant/beverage industry. Passion for the People, Place and Culture of our community, demonstrating enthusiasm for working in restaurants and providing guest service. TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol service certification or ability to obtain. Available to work a flexible schedule that may include mornings, weekends and holidays The ability to lift and/or carry a 40 lb load, and also handle heavy beer kegs in a safe manner. Must meet local age requirements in order to serve alcohol. In depth menu knowledge is necessary to ensure safe service to guests with allergies and restrictions.

Responsibilities:

Well versed in FOH operating procedures. (Opening, Closing, Cleaning, Cash Handling, etc.) Ensuring guest satisfaction Nurture a positive working environment Responsible for keeping the restaurant clean and maintained. Be accountable for maintaining a working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients, and what is unavailable for the day as well as accurately accounting for all monetary transactions during your shift. Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. Follow standards for identifying and managing intoxicated guests. Prepare and serve drink and/or food orders. Complete required side work prior to shift end.
