We are looking for an experienced and personable Front of House (FOH) Manager to lead guest-facing operations at our independent Southwest-inspired restaurant. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality, managing the service team, and ensuring a seamless dining experience that reflects the bold, welcoming spirit of Southwest culture. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and has a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including dining room, bar, and host standLead, train, and motivate FOH staff to deliver attentive and genuine hospitalityEnsure high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation are consistently maintainedManage guest relations, handle feedback, and resolve issues with professionalism and careCollaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and service flowDevelop staff schedules, manage labor costs, and optimize team performanceSupport hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training of FOH team membersMaintain knowledge of menu offerings, including Southwest-inspired dishes, cocktails, and beveragesMonitor service metrics such as table turn times, guest satisfaction, and sales performanceEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
Qualifications:
3+ years of FOH management or supervisory experience in a full-service restaurantStrong leadership and team-building skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesProven track record of delivering high-quality guest experiencesAbility to stay organized and composed in a high-volume environmentKnowledge of POS systems and restaurant management softwareFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Preferred Skills:
Experience in independent or chef-driven restaurant environmentsFamiliarity with Southwest cuisine, culture, and hospitality styleBilingual (English/Spanish) is a plusWine, beer, or cocktail knowledge is highly desirable
