Duties Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills. Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards, maintaining high levels of food safety and sanitation. Assist with food preparation tasks, including basic kitchen duties and food handling, to support kitchen staff as needed. Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales and maximize customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and ensuring the dining area remains inviting and organized. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while adhering to safety protocols. Support cashiering duties, handle cash register operations, and reconcile cash at the end of shifts with accuracy. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or a quick-service restaurant environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and order calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience in cashiering, serving, bussing tables, or retail environments is advantageous. Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a lively atmosphere.
