Front of House/Bar Manager The Froggy Dog is seeking highly qualified front of house managers to assist the General Manager with daily hospitality and beverage operations in our fast-paced high volume restaurant. Applicants should have the following qualifications: A minimum of 2 years restaurant management experience Server/Bartending experience preferred Exceptional customer service skills Experience handling cash and financial assets Ability to effectively manage the front of house staff, motivate them and assign duties fairly Ability to stand for several hours at a time and lift objects up to 50 lbs. Knowledge of health and safety standards High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearances. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Point of Sale and restaurant management software Ability to multitask and work quickly under pressure Advanced verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and organizational skills Typical duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist in managing the front of house team including scheduling, training and general supervision. Oversee that all opening/closing operations are executed correctly, and that cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant is maintained. Responsible for daily deposits, correct operation of the POS systems and balancing all daily/nightly cash drawers. Assist with beer, wine and liquor ordering/inventory. Provide excellent customer service to guests and resolve problems as they arise. Assist with catering operations as needed. Work closely with the General Manager and Executive Chef to ensure a seamless experience. Regulate the flow of customers while the restaurant is on a wait. Will report directly to the General Manager. We offer competitive compensation based upon experience. Housing and relocation assistance available on a case by case basis.Job Type:
