The front office is the heartbeat of our practice. This vital role combines administrative expertise with patient-centered communication to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences each and every time. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, computer efficient, customer service background, positive personality and a compassionate approach to patient care. This paid position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to healthcare while developing comprehensive administrative and clinical support skills. Not requiring past medical office experience is RARE in healthcare. This role is perfect for someone who has been wanting to get into the medical field but did not possess the minimum two years experience else where. This is also a great role for someone with past medical office experience! Both are welcomed! Bring your skill set, personality, eagerness to learn, positive attitude and so on! We are excited to meet you! Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, manage future appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow efficiently using multi-line phone systems and office management software such as Practice Studio. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verification, and assist with billing processes including medical collection efforts and medical coding (ICD-10, CPT coding). Maintain accurate and organized medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management standards. HIPAA training provided Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, support provider with clinical documentation review and ensuring proper coding for billing purposes. Manage front desk operations including filing, data entry and handling patient inquiries with professional phone etiquette and clerical support skills. Assist in the preparation of care plans by coordinating between patients and provider, ensuring timely follow-up and communication. Utilize EMR system to document patient interactions, update records and facilitate seamless clinic workflows. Support office management tasks including inventory control of medical supplies, insurance verification and maintaining a clean, organized front office environment. Skills Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10 coding standards, CPT coding, and medical billing procedures. Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to health information privacy and security. Excellent customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with typing skills including 10-key data entry. Proficiency in Google documents/sheets Ability to perform insurance verification accurately while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated organizational skills in managing medical records, filing systems and administrative documentation review. Pay:
$18.50 - $25.00 per hour
