Job Description

Bring your talent to our front office position at Farm Fresh Food Suppliers, Inc., a 91-year-old family-owned company based in Southeast Louisiana in the city of Amite. We are the world's largest manufacturing processor of unique specialty food items such as pickled meat snacks and pickled eggs. We sell to various wholesalers and distributors throughout the country. Our one-of-a-kind products have been featured in various marketing campaigns, as well as in movies, television, and online/social media. Our company is seeking a Front Office Coordinator for our main facility located in Amite, Louisiana, in close proximity to Interstate 55 for travel. Job Description We are looking for the right person to join our small office team to assist with the daily office duties. These duties include but are not limited to: Answer telephones, transfer calls or page to announce visitor. Keep a detailed log of all visitors Assist customers placing orders by phone, fax and email Creates, maintains, and enters information into databases Filing documentation properly Light Bookkeeping. Calculate daily sales Invoicing.
  • Interaction with vendors and Government agencies for products and services
  • Maintains office supply inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders.
  • Organize and schedule appointments Operates office equipment, such as fax machines, scanners/copiers, or phone systems.
Completes forms in accordance with company procedures. Assist with the screening and maintenance of resumes, applications, tests and reference checks. Assist with coordination of preparation of materials for new hire on-boarding and orientation. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience as an administrative assistant Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook) Great attention to detail and excellent communication skills required in person (including presentation) and writing. Excellent organizational skills. Problem solving Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred

$18.00 per hour
Benefits:
Paid time off, 3-day weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Schedule:
10 hour shift-Monday through Friday.
