Our Front Office team is at the forefront of our guest service operations, playing a crucial role in daily interactions and ensuring guest satisfaction. Job Description As a Front Office Supervisor, you will lead a team of front desk agents who are responsible for the guest registration process andmunication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role offers the opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Your leadership and expertise in front office operations will ensure our guests receive exceptional service throughout their stay. Responsibilities Supervise front office staff, including training, coaching, and providing direction to ensure high-quality guest service at all times. Support senior leadership by taking on basic management responsibilities and helping to develop efficient front office procedures. Lead by example, offering guidance and support to team members in handling guest inquiries, processing payments, and managing guest registration. Ensure all front office activities operate smoothly and efficiently, maintaining the Hyatt's high standards of service. Handle guest issues andplaints, providing solutions that ensure guest satisfaction. Assist with scheduling, payroll processing, and interviewing potential new hires for the front office team. Maintain a thorough understanding of all hotel services, promotions, and local area information to effectivelymunicate with guests. to spend a 'day in the life' of a hospitality professional at a full-service hotel via our virtual reality experience. Qualifications A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment. Refined verbal and writtenmunication skills. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Proven experience and a thorough understanding of front office operations, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations.
