Job Description

Job Details:
This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of products through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the overall operation of the fryer Set up fryer prior to startup Fill fryer with oil. Set oil temperature & dwell time according to product specs Monitor filters, temperatures, and dwell time throughout the shift Work with supervisor and other team members to maintain smooth product flow from the front end into the freezer Carry Mueller outside the production area to be dumped Drain fryer at end of shift Must comply with all hygiene practices and safety procedures at all times Other duties may be assigned by the supervisor
REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to perform essential job functions to standard within 15 days Must be able to work flexible hours and some weekend Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Must be able to work in a cold & wet environment Must observe all required hygiene & safety procedures at all times Must be able to stand for the entire shift Job requires bending, lifting, twisting, & turning. Must set an example for other team members to comply with all policies
