You will work directly with the President and an external CPA to support financial reporting, tax coordination, and month-end close. $30-$40/hour, commensurate with experience 401(k) with employer match Paid time off Flexible schedule within Monday-Friday business hours What we're looking for: 7+ years of full-charge bookkeeping experience in manufacturing, distribution, or multi-entity small business environments. Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas), and ERP-to-accounting system reconciliation. Proven experience with e-commerce accounting, including Shopify order reconciliation and multi-channel financial tracking. Solid knowledge of payroll processing, sales tax compliance, and financial reporting, with the ability to work on-site in Belleville, NJ, on a flexible weekday schedule (20-25 hours/week). Full-Charge Bookkeeper:

Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice matching, ERP-based invoicing, payment processing, vendor management, and collections. Perform complex reconciliations across multiple systems, including bank accounts, credit cards, ERP-to-QuickBooks Online, and Shopify-to-QuickBooks integrations. Oversee payroll processing through a PEO, including weekly submissions, PTO tracking, payroll reconciliation, and year-end

reporting. Handle sales and use tax compliance, including NJ filings and multi-state e-commerce nexus tracking for online sales. Lead month-end close activities and financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, and weekly cash flow updates to leadership. Manage new hire paperwork, onboarding and personnel files; coordinate benefit enrollment, time-off tracking, I-9 employment verification and basic compliance.
