Responsibilities:

Perform responsible and complex duties related to school health policies and procedures Handle confidential, sensitive, and potentially controversial information with discretion Participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of the school health program in accordance with New Mexico regulations Advocate for student health needs and rights Provide health services using the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation) Identify health concerns including social, physical, and psychological factors impacting learning Facilitate communication between students, families, staff, medical providers, and the community
