Job Description

Job Summary The Spa at Fort Smith, in collaboration with Swetnam Cosmetic Surgery, is seeking a licensed Clinical Aesthetician to join our growing regenerative aesthetics and wellness team. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about skincare, patient experience, and results-driven treatment plans within a clinical aesthetic setting rather than a traditional day spa environment. We are looking for a motivated team player who is excited to grow professionally, assist in multiple areas of the practice, and contribute to a fast-paced medical aesthetics environment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, professional, social media-minded, and willing to support both providers and patients throughout their experience with our office. This role includes hands-on aesthetic treatments, assisting with patient concierge responsibilities when needed, supporting clinical workflow, and helping grow the practice's digital presence through social media content and patient engagement. Responsibilities Perform professional aesthetic treatments including facials, chemical peels, microneedling, dermaplane treatments, laser treatments, and other clinical skincare services within scope of licensure Educate patients on skincare products, treatment plans, and post-care instructions Assist with patient consultations, intake, scheduling coordination, and overall patient experience Support Nurse Practitioners and providers with treatment room setup, organization, and workflow as needed Maintain accurate treatment documentation and patient records Ensure treatment rooms and equipment remain clean, organized, and compliant with infection control standards Assist with retail skincare recommendations and product education Participate in social media content creation including treatment videos, educational content, before-and-after photography, and practice marketing initiatives Collaborate closely with providers, front desk staff, and leadership to maintain a positive and efficient clinical environment Remain eager to learn new technologies, regenerative treatments, and advanced aesthetic procedures Qualifications Active Arkansas Aesthetician License required Previous experience in medical aesthetics, med spa, dermatology, plastic surgery, or cosmetic surgery preferred Strong communication and patient relationship skills Comfortable working in a clinical, team-oriented environment Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to multitask and adapt within a fast-paced practice Interest in regenerative aesthetics, wellness, and advanced skincare treatments Comfortable appearing in and contributing to social media content Willingness to assist in both clinical and concierge-style responsibilities as needed Preferred Skills Knowledge of medical-grade skincare products Experience with laser platforms, microneedling, and advanced facial treatments Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Social media familiarity including Instagram, Facebook, and short-form video content Ability to build long-term patient relationships and treatment plans Understanding of HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Team-first attitude with a willingness to grow alongside the practice What Makes This Position Different This is not a traditional spa environment.
