You will be in the kitchen cooking, preparing, and serving food. We will have two caregivers and a manager on shift with a maximum of 30 residents. It is very important that you get along well with the manager of the house and communicate well with your co-workers. As leadership we spent a lot of time getting a great manager, now we need team members to take care of the residents.

Responsibilities:

• Meal Planning and Preparation:

  Plan and prepare three daily meals and snacks, ensuring variety, taste, and nutritional balance.
• Develop menus that adhere to residents' dietary restrictions, including low-sodium, diabetic, or pureed diets.

• Kitchen Management:

  Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen that complies with state and local health regulations.
• Interact with residents to gather feedback on meals and make adjustments to improve satisfaction.

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of professional cooking experience, ideally in healthcare or senior living environments. Knowledge of dietary guidelines for seniors, including texture modifications and therapeutic diets. We want someone who is going to go above and beyond to take care residents because they see their own grandma or grandpa in our community.
