Full Time Day Shift Baker

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Baker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and food production, along with a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Bakery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our bakery, ensuring that our products are prepared, packaged, and presented to the highest standards. Duties Assist in the preparation and baking of various bakery items, including Cookies, pastries, and cakes. Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in all baked goods. Package baked products for display and sale, ensuring they are attractive and meet food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering any questions about products on the telephone. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely production of baked goods. Handle food safely according to health regulations and company policies. Must be able to lift 50+ pounds Experience Previous experience in the food industry or catering is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling practices is essential. Experience in food production or working in a restaurant environment is a plus. Basic knife skills for cutting and preparing ingredients are beneficial. A strong desire to learn about baking techniques and improve culinary skills is highly valued. Excellent customer service skills to enhance the customer experience in our bakery.
