Full-Time Dispatcher LIFT (Paratransit)

EMTA/LIFT FULLTIME DISPATCHER EMTA/LIFT

is seeking a full-time dispatcher for its paratransit operations. This job allows for a 40-hour week with some overtime, Tuesday through Saturday, and overtime every other Monday 14:00 to close. Must also be a team player and adjust when needed. Candidate must be available to train during all shifts. Responsibilities The essential functions of the position include but are not limited to the following: Plan and dispatch drivers per company guidelines Monitor drivers schedules and facilitate changes Customer service and Coordination including taking complaints and resolving problems. Monitor radio and tablet communications with drivers and respond appropriately to emergencies Collect and account for drivers fare collections Prepare reports as necessary. Minimal Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Strong organizational and time management skills Computer literate, ability to quickly learn new programs Strong analytical skills, ability to problem solve and make decisions Team player. Adaptable, Schedules can change to accommodate staffing needs. Ability to sit for long periods of time Pass act 33/34 clearances, acceptable motor vehicle record and pass DOT drug screen EOE employer
