Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Full Time Greenskeeper and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This energetic position involves ensuring the health and appearance of the golf course or landscaped grounds through expert landscape maintenance, lawn care, and horticultural practices. You will be responsible for creating pristine, inviting environments that enhance the experience for all visitors and members. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help uphold the highest standards of turf and landscape quality. Duties Perform routine landscaping tasks including mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating turf to promote healthy growth. Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain irrigation systems by inspecting, repairing, and adjusting sprinklers to ensure optimal watering schedules. Conduct landscape maintenance activities like planting, fertilizing, pruning, and weed control to keep grounds vibrant and healthy. Use hand tools for detailed gardening work such as planting flowers or shrubs, removing debris, or installing landscape features. Monitor turf health and diagnose issues related to pests or disease, applying appropriate horticultural treatments. Assist with seasonal preparations including soil conditioning, overseeding, and preparing grounds for special events or tournaments. Experience Prior experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or turf management is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Knowledge of irrigation systems, lawn care techniques, and landscaping best practices is highly desirable. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in gardening and groundskeeping is essential for safety and efficiency. Basic understanding of horticulture principles including plant health care and soil management. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
