1 year (Required) Teaching Primary & Secondary Levels (Required) Bachelor's (Preferred) Homeschool Experience (Preferred) Full Job Description Teachers To Go is looking for an in-person full-time homeschool teacher to teach all core subjects to four children (2 older girls & 2 younger boys) at their home northeast of Seattle in Woodinville, WA 98072. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right teacher: a full-time homeschool position Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm that pays $85,000/year + paid time off similar to a private school. This is an immediate opportunity since the family is flexible about when they can begin the school year. Looking for an intelligent, calm, patient, consistent and dedicated full-time homeschool teacher. The right teacher should be an excellent role model, both as a teacher and as a human being. The teacher who is the right fit will be able to set boundaries, but also will welcome intellectual challenge and will not be afraid to be questioned. Looking for a creative teacher who is organized and able to develop a rapport with four very smart children who are ahead of grade level. Applicants should be competent enough across all subjects through 12th grade level to be able to facilitate and teach them in a homeschool environment. The teacher will be responsible for overseeing and implementing homeschool curricula that is approved by the parents. (The parents are open to collaborating with the right teacher about which curricula is used.) The right teacher should also be capable of and enthusiastic about adding supplemental hands-on education-related activities utilizing the family farm, and overseeing and facilitating creative activities for the students. Teachers who enjoy the flexibility of sometimes teaching outdoors and being around animals might also be a good fit. Applicants should be able to engage the students and keep up with them physically. Teacher candidates should have at least 1 year of teaching experience and be capable of teaching multi-grade level advanced students through high school. Prior homeschool teaching experience is a plus, but not required. Requirements:

At least 1 year of teaching experience and the ability to teach multi-grade levels from elementary through high school is required. A minimum BA/BS is preferred, and prior experience successfully teaching primary and secondary homeschool is a plus. Must be well-organized and have your own reliable transportation and cell phone. Must be able to travel to the home of the students in person in Woodinville, WA 98072 Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm.
