Full Time Lead Academic Preschool Teacher for Performing Arts Preschool

Stages Academy, a performing arts preschool and afterschool program, is looking for a a Full Time Lead Academic Preschool Teacher for our Buckingham location! We are a school based on the Reggio Emilia approach and provide a program that challenges a child's whole brain by putting academics and the arts on an even playing field. Our unique program allows students to attend classes on a rotational basis, in 35 minute intervals throughout the day, providing them with the opportunity to learn from a wide variety of teachers and staff. We are looking to hire a full time academic teacher to lead language arts and math/science classes for our young preschool through preschool (ages 2-4 years old) students. The ideal candidate would have prior experience in a preschool setting, have familiarity with writing lesson plans, and be capable of working independently in the classroom. The ideal candidate will be well organized and have solid time management and classroom management skills. This person would be a team player, flexible, friendly, and nurturing with our students. Candidates should:

have a degree in early childhood education OR relevant field and experience, have experience teaching and supervising young children, have experience writing and implementing weekly lesson plans, be friendly, detail-oriented, creative, and team players. We pay a minimum of $17/hour (with base increases depending on your level of education) as early as your first day upon completion of job entry requirements. There are 2 additional opportunities throughout the first year to earn up to a total of an additional $1.50 per hour in bonuses! Benefits package available to full-time employees.
