Job Description

Due to office expansion our busy law office is looking to hire an experienced real estate paralegal. Ideal candidate is a detail-oriented self starter with positive can-do attitude, quick learner who is dependable, flexible and can work effectively in a fast-paced small office environment. You must have 3-5 years of recent law firm experience, formal paralegal training and are proficient with handling real estate transactions. Duties include but not limited to: Handle tenancy disputes Assist with tax appeals Handle real estate transactions (commercial and residential) Heavy office support (filing, answering phones, mail, copying, etc.) Organize litigation files and prepare documents/exhibits for trials/hearings Interact with the courts, clients, prospects and attorneys in person and by phone. Hours are generally Monday through Friday 9 - 5. Some overtime maybe needed during certain busy periods.
