Full Time Speech and Language Pathologists-Weare School District Description:
The Weare School District is seeking 2 full-time Speech and Language Pathologists to become members of our special education teams at Center Woods Elementary School and Weare Middle School. The speech and language pathologists will conduct assessments, provide speech services for students, and possibly supervise district wide SLA. This is a Weare School District-based position with potential to work with students in other districts in our SAU as needed. This position starts in the 2026-2027 school year.Job Summary:
The successful candidate must be able to administer evaluations to students identified with or suspected of having disabilities needing therapy services. These evaluations must result in comprehensive written reports and verbal presentations detailing outcomes and recommendations. The speech and language pathologist serves as a collaborative member of the IEP team. Consultation is also part of the role responsibilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills, good organization/time management skills, inclusive practices, and knowledge of special education procedures are fundamental. Ability to fulfill duties as needed for the Medicaid to Schools Program is also needed.Qualifications:
Current certification as a Speech and Language Pathologist through the New Hampshire Office of Professional Licensure and Certification is required. Salary is Commensurate with Experience (Permanent) + Great benefit package to include health, vision, dental, FSA, life, long term disability. Paid leave includes personal and sick time. Enrollment in NH Retirement System for future pension. Offers of employment are conditional pending the results of FBI Fingerprinting and a Criminal Record Check.
