We are looking for qualified, passionate team members to join us at MCA in a loving Christian environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and experience working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, grow, and develop essential skills through play and structured activities in a private Christian School environment.
Duties :
Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging curiosity, creativity, and exploration among children. Manage classroom behavior effectively with a restorative and growth focus. Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique learning needs. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all students. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Requirements Six months experience working in a DSS licensed or registered program. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Strong caregiving skills, including experience in infant care, toddler care, and preschool aged children is a plus. Ability to create engaging educational activities that align with developmental milestones. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for educating young children.
