Full-time Toddler Teacher Assistant Everett, WA 98208 From $20.25 an hour - Full-time From $20.25 an hour - Full-time Starbright Early Learning Center, located in Everett, is currently hiring motivated, energetic, and creative professionals to join our team. We have a full-time position in our older toddler classroom, Monday through Friday, 9:30 am-6:00 pm. We emphasize creativity, self-discipline, and self-worth while working with children individually to help them identify their own unique strengths and abilities. Our teachers understand the importance of developmentally appropriate practice to provide an enriched environment and high-quality education. Applicants must be a team player, flexible, and dependable. Duties include, but are not limited to, supervising, caring for, ensuring hygiene, and guiding young children. Able to lift at least 50 lbs., maintain a clean, safe, and organized physical environment, communicate effectively with families and staff, and follow the daily schedule of classroom routines and activities. We prefer candidates with experience working with young children, as well as certification in CPR/First Aid, Bloodborne Pathogens/HIV, a negative TB test, Food Handlers Card, and the ability to pass a background check through the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families prior to the start date. STARS or college coursework is a plus, but not required.
