Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Functional Medicine Doctor to join our team. This is an independent contractor position and the ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of integrative health approaches, focusing on identifying and addressing root causes of chronic conditions. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and functional evaluations. Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate nutrition, lifestyle modifications, supplement protocols, and other integrative therapies. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient interactions accurately and efficiently. Educate patients on health optimization strategies, emphasizing preventative care and sustainable lifestyle changes. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain high standards of patient confidentiality and safety. Experience Proven experience practicing functional or integrative medicine within a clinical setting. Knowledge of medical imaging techniques and diagnostic evaluation methods relevant to functional medicine assessments. Background in patient service delivery, health coaching, and developing care plans tailored to individual needs. Demonstrated ability to interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and perform comprehensive patient assessments. Prior experience in outpatient clinics is preferred but not required.
