Send to Friend Come join our team in the role of Brevant Functional Support Leader! This position is responsible for leading the execution and continuous improvement of key commercial support processes, with primary accountability for seed supply allocation and sales operations support. This role ensures alignment between supply, demand, and commercial priorities through strong cross-functional coordination across Sales, Supply Chain, Product, and Operations. The Functional Support Leader serves as a central point of integration, translating supply constraints and commercial strategy into actionable direction for the field. The position is approximately 75% individual contributor, focused on process ownership and execution, and 25% people leadership, responsible for leading and developing a team of specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Allocation & Execution Lead end-to-end execution of seed supply allocation processes, including preseason planning, in-season adjustments, and allocation optimization Translate supply plans, constraints, and commercial priorities into actionable allocation strategies across districts, products, and customer segments Ensure alignment and accuracy across core systems (SeedWare, Managed Supply) and demand inputs Manage allocation at district and account levels, including adjustments, backorder fulfillment, and supply balancing Monitor allocation outcomes and resolve discrepancies, imbalances, or risks to execution Prepare for key milestones such as order deadlines, allocation lock periods, and packaging decisions Sales Operations Support Oversee execution of sales support processes to enable efficient field execution Coordinate order management activities including cuts, substitutions, and backorder resolution Lead system readiness and setup activities including product activation, GTIN management, and packaging setup Support demand planning and facilitate adjustments when supply and demand are misaligned Provide ongoing support to the field for system, product, and operational inquiries Quality, Issue Resolution & Process Integrity Serve as focal point for product quality variances and cross-functional resolution Lead troubleshooting of inventory, allocation, and system discrepancies Ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to improve reliability Cross-Functional Coordination Act as liaison between Sales, Supply Chain, Product, and Operations teams Ensure alignment between operational execution and commercial strategy Facilitate coordination during peak periods and supply disruptions Influence stakeholders to drive optimized business and customer outcomes Continuous Improvement Identify and lead initiatives to improve efficiency, scalability, and user experience Drive standardization and simplification of tools and workflows Improve visibility and transparency of supply and allocation data Team Leadership Lead, coach, and develop a team of functional specialists Set clear expectations and maintain regular performance discussions Foster a high-performance, accountable, and collaborative team environment Ensure team engagement and capability development aligned to business needs Qualifications & Capabilities Strong operational and systems expertise (Excel, SeedWare, Managed Supply, or similar platforms) Ability to manage complex supply and demand dynamics with high attention to detail Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset Effective communication skills across field and leadership audiences Demonstrated people leadership experience Bachelors degree #LI-CK1 Benefits -
