Duties Manage all aspects of funeral home operations, including scheduling, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards Coordinate funeral services from initial consultation through completion, ensuring seamless event planning and execution Provide bereavement support to grieving families with compassion, clarity, and professionalism Oversee the preparation of bodies, including cosmetology and dissection procedures when necessary, maintaining strict sanitation protocols Lead sales efforts by guiding families through service options and product selections while maintaining excellent customer service standards Ensure proper handling of remains through knowledge of physiology and anatomy to facilitate respectful dissection or preparation as needed Supervise heavy lifting tasks related to body transportation and equipment setup to ensure safety and efficiency Requirements Proven experience in funeral directing or management within a funeral home environment Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy to support body preparation and dissection procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate empathetically with grieving families Experience in event planning to coordinate funeral services smoothly and professionally Familiarity with sanitation practices essential for maintaining a clean and safe environment Ability to provide bereavement support with sensitivity and understanding Physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks involved in body transportation and equipment handling Knowledge of cosmetology techniques for body preparation when applicable Sales experience to effectively guide families through available services and products Join us in making a meaningful difference during life's most difficult moments.
