Duties Safely load, unload, and transport furniture using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA safety regulations Assist with order picking and materials handling to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory movements efficiently Use cranes or other mechanical tools for lifting and positioning heavy or bulky furniture items Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to coordinate shipping & receiving activities and ensure timely delivery schedules Maintain proper documentation of all load & unload activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks to guarantee safe operation during furniture movement Experience Prior experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or construction environments preferred Proven ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and clamp trucks with certification where applicable Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to materials handling and heavy equipment operation Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, and order picking processes Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus Experience in warehouse supervision or team coordination is advantageous but not required Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and repetitive tasks; ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods Join us in creating a safe, efficient workspace where your skills make an immediate impact!
