Furniture Sales Advisor (Consultative, Base Plus Commission) Full Time | Closed Sundays Gish's Furniture is seeking an experienced Furniture Sales Advisor for a relationship driven, consultative sales role focused on custom Amish handcrafted and American made furniture. This is a full time, base plus commission position with no cap on earnings. This is not transactional retail sales. Success in this role comes from long term client relationships, product expertise, and disciplined follow up. About the Role As a Furniture Sales Advisor at Gish's, you will guide clients through home furnishing decisions involving custom, heirloom quality furniture. This role is designed for experienced sales professionals who value trust based selling, repeat business, and referrals. Responsibilities Conduct in depth client consultations to understand needs, preferences, and long term goals Guide customers through custom furniture selections, materials, finishes, and configurations Manage multiple active client relationships with consistent and professional follow up Build long term customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals Use CRM tools to track customer information, communication, and follow up activities Maintain a polished showroom environment aligned with brand standards Take ownership of the customer experience from initial conversation through final delivery Meet and exceed sales goals while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism Qualifications Minimum of two years of success in relationship driven or consultative sales Experience selling furniture, home furnishings, design related products, or other high value goods preferred Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to build trust Organized and detail oriented with proven follow through Comfortable using CRM systems to manage customers and opportunities Genuine interest in furniture, design, craftsmanship, or quality products Self motivated professional who takes ownership of results Compensation Base pay plus commission No cap on commission Long term earning potential through repeat business and referrals Comprehensive training on products, craftsmanship, and sales process Why Gish's Furniture Closed Sundays to support work life balance Family owned company with a strong reputation High quality Amish handcrafted and American made furniture Supportive, professional team environment Opportunity to build a long term sales career
