Director of Partnerships About Us We are a fast-growing insurance distribution company that partners with independent pet stores and franchise locations nationwide. Our model is simple:
we provide pet insurance coverage that stores offer to customers at the point of sale, protecting new pet owners during the critical first weeks and months of ownership. We currently operate across 27 states with 31,000+ active policies and are scaling aggressively. The Role We're hiring a Partner Success Manager to own and grow a multi-state territory of pet store partnerships. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing deals, and driving measurable results without needing someone looking over their shoulder. You'll be the face of our company to store owners and managers — acquiring new partnerships, onboarding and training store teams, monitoring performance, and ensuring each store is consistently offering our insurance products. You'll also oversee a small team handling customer onboarding calls to improve policy retention. What You'll Do Acquire new store partnerships: Identify, pitch, and close partnership agreements with independent pet stores across your territory Onboard and train: Launch new store locations, train staff on our insurance offering, and ensure smooth rollout Drive performance: Monitor take rates and store metrics; intervene with retraining or strategy adjustments when stores underperform Retain and grow: Maintain ongoing relationships with store owners and managers; be their go-to contact for anything related to our program Manage onboarding team: Supervise a small team responsible for calling new policyholders during the free-look period to explain benefits and reduce early cancellations Report and communicate: Provide regular performance reports and updates to company leadership Leverage technology: Use CRM tools, AI productivity tools, and data dashboards to work efficiently and identify opportunities Who You Are A true self-starter who can own an entire territory and drive results independently 3-7 years of experience in B2B partnership development, territory sales, or channel management — insurance industry experience is a strong plus but not required Proven track record of acquiring and maintaining business partnerships or accounts Comfortable traveling 50-70% of the time across multiple states (we cover travel expenses) Strong communicator who can train retail staff, present to store owners, and manage up effectively Tech-savvy:
comfortable with CRM systems, AI tools, and digital reporting Based in or willing to relocate to [Atlanta, GA metro / Dallas-Fort Worth, TX metro] area with proximity to a major airport Insurance license not required at hire — we'll support you in obtaining one Compensation & Benefits $60,000 base salary Performance bonuses tied to policy production, store activation milestones, and retention improvement On-target earnings: $100,000-$115,000 | Strong performance: $120,000-$135,000 | Exceptional:
