Job Description

Lead the delivery of business improvement projects to enable improvements in customer and business value. Collaborate with team members who work across enterprise-wide organizational structures. Provide frequent communication about projects to stakeholders, departments, and management to ensure projects deadlines are met, issues are identified and mitigated, and leaders are informed of any risks. Bachelor's Degree
Experience:
One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures. Licenses and Certifications
  • NONE REQUIRED
    Qualifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or complete within 6 months of hire date.
  • One or more years of process improvement experience. Healthcare operations experience preferred.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication, organizational and presentation skills.
  • Experience interacting with Project leadership to define project goals, objectives, purpose, and then executing on defined requirements
  • Direct experience with developing process models in MS Visio preferred
  • Experience working as a part of a team to achieve client-driven objectives and requirements
  • Ability to work independently or in a team, set priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Projects are aligned, undertaken, and executed to support the organization's strategic objectives and goals that optimize patient safety, quality, delivery and reduce cost to achieve Tanner Health's mission and vision.
  • Partner with sponsors, process owners, team members and strategic and operational leadership to execute the project and deliver results.
  • Instruct, coach, and guide cross-functional teams in adapting to and understanding improvement processes, facilitating Kaizen and Rapid Improvement Events.
  • Create insightful process maps, workflow diagrams and Value Steam Maps.
  • Plan and complete assigned work on time and in accordance with established timelines by identifying and overcoming barriers and risks that prohibit project completion and or success in a timely manner
  • Establish strong team relationships, building trust and open communication regarding project issues and results
  • Identifies Lean Process Improvement knowledge gaps of project teams, create and conduct training in Lean principles, methods, and tools, as needed, in the appropriate format for the situation
  • Travel to all Tanner sites as needed for projects. Compliance Statement

Is responsible to detect, observe, and report compliance variances to their immediate supervisor, the Compliance Officer, or the Hotline. Required Knowledge & Skills
