Serves as point of contact for key supplier accounts, providing administrative support and coordinating daily operations. Manage supplier records in company operating system and update competitive pricing information. Create and monitor supplier cost comparisons. What You'll Do Serves as a point of contact for assigned key supplier accounts resolving logistical and order fulfillment related issues Establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally (purchasing) and externally (suppliers). Assist other departments with escalated requests and decision making for accurate, timely claim closure Regularly perform supplier cost comparisons; perform and present pricing and product analysis; update company operating system with competitive pricing information Work closely with Invoice Control to resolve price discrepancies and clear issues on statements Create, maintain, update and enhance supplier records Support the procurement of new suppliers Provide ideas for business opportunities that align with the Contractor Relations' Team Act as the team's resource and subject matter expert to answer questions and create resolutions using experience, best practices and sound judgment Assists in scheduling and coordinating team activities; distribute selected work activities to team members May provide input into hiring and performance appraisals, but does not make hiring decisions or conduct performance evaluations Troubleshoots and guides others on wide variety of complex problems and identifies solutions within broad application and functional expertise Support supervisors in their management and coaching of staff What You'll Bring High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred 5+ years of directly related experience and demonstrated leadership experience Demonstrated leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills Exercises confidence, sound judgment and independent decision-making skills Ability to understand and execute policy and procedures Emerging leader skills Establishes effective working relationships at the work group level Drives enhancements to department processes and procedures through regular recommendations Analytical skills Tenacious, resourceful and inquisitive Ability to take a simplistic and realistic approach to problem solving MS Office (Word and Excel) skills Exceptional ability to understand and communicate using verbal and nonverbal communication skills. Should be assertive in nature Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize and follow up Knowledge of the product offerings and trades within the scope of the department Knowledge of organization's compliance regulations Good negotiation skills
Pay Range:
$23.37 - $31.15 Hourly, Remote This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.
