Job Description
Tenet Healthcare is partnering with a growing private gastroenterology practice in Phoenixs West Valley to recruit a Gastroenterologist to join a physician-led, outpatient-focused GI team. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking clinical autonomy, long-term partnership potential, and the ability to help shape the future growth of an expanding gastroenterology platform in one of the fastest-growing regions in Arizona. Founded in 2017, the practice has established a strong reputation for patient-centered digestive care throughout the West Valley and continues to experience significant referral growth and increasing procedural demand.
Opportunity Highlights:
Outpatient-focused position with approximately 85-90% clinic and procedural care Partnership track opportunity Potential future ownership opportunities in ancillary service lines Flexible clinic and endoscopy schedule Optional inpatient consults and hospital coverage based on physician preference No mandatory ED or hospital call Ability to develop subspecialty interests including motility, IBD, hepatology, and advanced endoscopy Hospital privileges available at Abrazo West Campus and additional local facilitiesPractice Resources & Support:
In-house pathology lab Capsule endoscopy Hemorrhoid bandingERCP/EUS
collaboration opportunities depending on skillset Motility testing program in development Virtual scribe technology available Experienced clinical and administrative support staff including MAs, billing, front office, and practice administrationQualifications:
MD or DO Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtainERCP/EUS
