Lake Attendant (Seasonal Contract)

Eufaula Lake, Oklahoma (12 campgrounds, 2 swim beaches, 14 boat ramps)

Period of Performance:

78 Days each year, for 3 years

Schedule:

Thursday-Monday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (includes Memorial Day & Independence Day) Hourly rate: $15/Hr Responsibilities Monitor recreation areas and interact with visitors. Perform recreation area inspections (minimum twice daily; 20% on foot). Check campers in/out via Recreation.gov system. Provide interpretive talks and promote water safety programs. Assist with community outreach events and staff information centers. Report accidents, disturbances, or violations to Park Rangers or law enforcement. Perform light maintenance (minor repairs, clean-up, flag duties, lost & found). Issue passes (Annual, Military, Senior, Access). Maintain accountability for government property and vehicles. Uphold professional appearance and wear government-issued uniform/nametag. Requirements Must pass a criminal background check (no felony convictions; no recent misdemeanors for violence, drugs, or theft). Computer proficiency required (NRRS reservation system). Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong communication and customer service skills. Physical ability to walk uneven terrain, stand for extended periods, and lift moderate weight.

$15.00 per hour
