Job Description

Position Description Calibrates, maintains and approves measuring devices. Job Responsibilities
  • Writes user instructions and trains and audits employees on use of gauges.
  • Reviews product drawings and draws sketches for new or revised gauges.
  • Maintains inventories and records of gauges, and prepares gauge lists.
  • Performs temporary measurement setups.
  • Processes and follows up on equipment orders and services
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Job Skills Requirements
  • Computer skills preferred
  • Ability to give attention to detail and maintain process quality
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions
  • Ability to understand LEAN principles to perform job duties for continuous improvement
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location Education High School diploma General Education Degree Experience Requirements
  • Previous Quality experience preferred
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred Physical & Environmental Requirements Some physical demand; often lifts light weight material.
Rarely lifting/moving average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material. Generally good working conditions.
