General Assembler - $17 1st Shift Rock Island, Illinois Position Overview We are hiring General Assemblers to join a growing team in the woodworking industry. In this hands-on role, you'll build wood crates, containers, and platforms used for shipping and transport. This is a great opportunity to get started in assembly with the ability to grow into custom builds or machine operation roles . Key Responsibilities Assemble wood containers, crates, and platforms according to specifications Use hand and power tools including nail guns, saws, and measuring tools Measure, cut, and fasten materials with accuracy Maintain consistent productivity throughout the shift Ensure finished products meet quality standards Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines Qualifications Experience using hand and power tools Ability to read a tape measure accurately Comfortable working with nail guns and basic saws Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed Ability to stand and work for the entire shift Strong work ethic and attention to detail Preferred Experience Assembly, construction, carpentry, or woodworking experience Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment Familiarity with blueprint reading or custom builds (a plus) Why Join Us?
