Job Description

Category Schools - General Education Teacher Job Type Contract Inspire students and help shape young minds as a dedicated educator in a vibrant school community. This contract opportunity is open for passionate teachers ready to make a difference across various grade levels and subject areas. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, for the 2026-2027 school year, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. This role offers the unique chance to work with elementary, middle, and high school students in a supportive environment. Various subject areas are available, including Art, Business Education, Middle and Secondary English, Social Studies, and Secondary Science. Qualifications & Skills:
Current and valid South Carolina teaching certificate (required, no exceptions) Experience working with diverse learners across multiple grade levels preferred Expertise in one or more of these subjects: Art, Business Education, English, Social Studies, or Science Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Adaptability and commitment to educational excellence
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging instruction tailored to varying developmental levels Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support Collaborate with colleagues, families, and administrators on educational strategies Participate in professional development and school activities as required
