General Foreman Instrument Fitting - NSCJOB SUMMARY
The General Foreman will manage team activity and production. They will oversee daily activities in accordance with activity scheduled and provide updates on results. This position supervises personnel and ensures the implementation of project plans and specifications.ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Adhering and enforcing individual and crew compliance on all rules set forth by ASRC and clients, in accordance with our safety program
- Creating schedules and managing manpower needs
- Providing activity schedule updates on work progress
- Instructing and leading crews on tasks per the activity schedule
- Supervising daily time and cost coding, staying ahead 3-6 weeks on materials
- Delivery of a daily report quantified with a one day look ahead, and what was achieved from that quantity, written with correct grammar in a professional manner
- Managing team performance and disciplinary actions, and all related documents
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Possess a valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Possess knowledge of Microsoft suite including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook
- Have a minimum of 6 years of experience Instrument Fitting
- Have 3 years of experience in personnel management
- Have the ability to work 80.5 - 84 hours a week on rotational shifts
- Have extensive knowledge of client specs and details or a willingness to learn
- Have extensive knowledge of Swagelok parts
- Have extensive knowledge of isometric drawings
- Have extensive knowledge of instrumentation and tubing installation
- Experience in leading crews in activity scheduled to ensure productivity ass planned

While working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided to you. All camps provide warm meals and options to grab a quick lunch or snack from the spike rooms. Rooms vary from single status to shared rooms where your roommate may work the opposite shift. Wi-Fi and Internet is free and available within the camp. Services vary depending upon where you are staying; however, most facilities offer housekeeping, self-serve laundry, commissary, mail, gyms, TV/Theater Room, etc. Each facility will have their own accommodations and policies that will be reviewed upon on-site orientation.PHYSICAL DEMANDS

candidate must be able to meet the following non-exclusive requirements: Meet the ASRC Energy Driving Records and Motor Vehicle Use Policy. Take and pass a pre-employment drug test which may include both UA and hair testing. Meet the physical requirements of this position including working in a remote location under arctic conditions. Required to take and pass a Fit-For-Duty Exam Required to complete and successfully pass a background check. Must be able to obtain and maintain an access badge for the work location.
